What's the best battery?

This has definitely been the question over the last few weeks. And, as we've written multiple times, we personally have found the Sungrow Batteries to be the market leader. This is only an opinion, we must stress, but it's a well-informed opinion based on experience and, most importantly, performance.
But it's a hard one. The issue here is that many companies are now claiming to be number 1 and are openly twisting data or just outright lying about their products.
This chart below is a survey of industry installers from another solar quoting website. It's also being used by companies to justify why they are number 1. The hard part is though, the companies that are claiming to be number 1 clearly aren't on this chart. Some are even saying that, in the fine print, they'll "be no1 next year". That's not an acceptable reason to say you're the leading product in our eyes...
There are many, so many different factors, in fact, to consider with batteries, and it's not an easy choice of how to do it. But please do your research thoroughly, very thoroughly, before you buy. And please listen when we show you things that might not be true. It's a minefield of marketing out there, and celebrity endorsements don't protect you from anything. Many still hate a famous Aussie cricket captain due to endorsing fraudulent solar companies years ago. To be fair, he was only getting paid to say some nice things. It wasn't his job to check if the company was legitimate or not!
Stay sunny, everyone.
