Electric Cars

Well, it seems old mate Elon wasn't the first to promote the electric car!

Mind-blowing that the technology existed this far back, but in this day and age without solar owning an electric car is actually more expensive than petrol. However, there is a simple solution, obviously, if you have the roof space.


It will be interesting to see how homes, and particularly unit owners, pay for charging their cars in the future. It's not a commonly discussed topic, but at current and future electrical costs, it will make having solar panels a necessity for everyone with a vehicle.


Many units, and even homes with heavy shading for that matter, are predicted to be less desirable due to their lack of solar abilities. With many car manufacturers looking to be completely electric within the next ten years alone, you can see why many experts predict this.


Either way, it will be an interesting, and solar, future.
