Confusion over batteries and all the changes to the industry!

It's a crazy time out there in solar. I would even go as far as saying it's the craziest I've seen. With so many industries on their knees, there have been so many idiots entering the frame, and yes, that's a big problem. But to be fair, it's a confusing time for everyone, and there are many, many different opinions on how to do batteries not only correctly but also to their optimum.

Please see below a thread about a certain brand.

We won't reveal the brand or who is discussing these things, but it sums up what is happening out there and why so many customers are so confused.

Personally, we have been told so many different and contradicting statements on what's good, bad, and just generally how things need to be done by manufacturers that we felt overwhelmed. And we've been doing batteries as a team all the way back since 2012, as Sue and Inger said. They were the first ones we worked with. But things have changed, and so have the products, meaning it's been a steep learning curve. Throw in shocking supply vs demand and mainly unqualified installers for batteries, and you can understand the confusion many are feeling.

The good news in all this? It's actually not rocket science, and if you do it correctly, it really is a game changer for your home.

Stay sunny, everyone, and please call us with any questions. We're here to help!
