This photo below sums up the affect of hail better than any other I've seen. 99 times from a 100 the panels will all be fine, bar 1. I've found as a general rule that when all panels break, so does the roof. And, all of a sudden your solar is not as important...

But most of the time it's one faulty panel that breaks, while the others around are fine. Hail shouldn't be an issue in genera, but if it is, well, then you've been through one hell of a storm!

Always make sure you've notified your hime and contents insurer of your solar and you'll be fine😊.
