Tilt frames...

A great idea in certain parts of the country, however, unless you're south of Sydney, or have a very high winter usage, not always the best solution for most households or business needs.

But if you are going to tilt, make sure the company installing takes into account the sun's winter trajectory. Case in point this job below.

Now to be fair there are a lot of problems with this install, but unless you have split cell panels, as these are clearly not, then the system won't work. Shade vertically across all rows of cells will shut your system down, as bi-pass diodes only work horizontally. Therefore, this system will never work, and is essentially an expensive roof ornament.

This is not one of our fix up jobs but an important point for consumers none the less. And to also be fair, no installer worth their salt would have done a job like this...
