Well, it's not that simple. The reality is that many of the cells are all made in the same place, and many panels are simply given different badges at cheap factories.
But, I hear you say, how does a layman know which is which? Well it's not that hard if you know what to look for...
Case in pont below. Two of the cheapest panels on the market: GSUN and AKCOME. have a look at the Longi, the worlds number 1 performing and selling panels, website's front page. Much more attention to detail and money spent on presentation.
Now whilst that's a bad thing when it comes to solar companies a lot of the time, for a international panel manufacturer it's very important. It reflects the enitre organisation. Yes, with solar installation compaies you want small teams with attention to detail and controlled management, but that changes when it comes to a mutiple billion dollar panel company.
Also case in point, a panel that we won't use due to previous bad experiences, Ackome (we're not saying all Ackone panels are bad, just gping of previous experience). If you are going to to an expo you'd at least get the spelling right .
So when you're next doing your research look for the little details, it just might add tens of thousands to your systems return over the years. Do it once and do it right!
